General Rules

Every lab task starts at 8 am and ends at 5 pm. Late arrivals are not tolerated.

At the beginning of every course, students gather in lab D (see Lab locations ) at 8 am. After the short introduction and  safety instructions, students move to corresponding laboratories and begin to work on their lab tasks.

The number of the group corresponds with the first laboratory task (for example group number 5 will begin with task number five - Spectrophotometry). See List of Laboratory Tasks.

Students are obliged to be fully equipped for succesful completion of their laboratory tasks ( lab manual, lab notebook, writing accessories, calculator, lab coat, chemical tables and A4 list of paper for the writing of their laboratory protocol). In addition to the necessary equipment, students must have basic knowledge of the lab task to pass successfully morning entrance test (see Test Rules).

In the case of failure in the entrance test, the student is graded with "F. This grade is included in the overall score. Students can repeat the laboratory task in an alternative term.

Based on submitted results and protocol, each laboratory task will be graded from "A" to "F". After an agreement with the assistant, the protocol can be submitted later ( maximum 2 days delay). In the case of missing grade in SIS, please contact the relevant assistant. If the submitted protocol will be identified as plagiarism, the finding will be announced to the dean and the student will repeat whole laboratories, all seven tasks.

To acquire classified credit, students have to complete all 7 laboratory tasks. Up to 2 from 7 grades can be "F".

Results of every laboratory tasks can be reviewed via SIS.
